While in the process of rearranging and cataloging my WW2 book collection I realized that I don't have a biography of Adolph Hitler. What would be your recommendations for the best one?

I have a ebook of Mein Kampf... began reading it years ago, but never finished it...

Mein Kampf is the way to go. An autobiography is hard to beat.

Dunno if Mein Kampf is going to be your best reference to be honest.

For a start it's about his ideology more than about him, it was published well before his rise to power so would kinda miss the juicy bits and I'm not sure the author is the most objective assessment.

There is a fairly comprehensive work by John Toland that seems to be a seminal work but I've not read it far better thing to do with my time.

I think Kershaw's Hitler is probably one of the best biographies of the man around at the moment. "Mein Kampf" is virtually unreadable - it's ungrammatical and bigoted and of questionable accuracy. Moreover it finishes in 1924, after the Munich Putsch, so not a lot of help. It reads rather like someone had written down the drunken ramblings of the local bore in the pub.

There's one by H.R. Tevor-Roper out there supposed to be good.
