prepainted figures and removing paint

i have aresin figure that has been painted an dteh paint allowed to set for I assume since the factory or when whoeverr painted it finished. My question will oven cleaner remove this paint? If not what can I use that is available in Canada?

oven cleaner should lift it off or there is a special paint remover that's designed for models
give that a bash or why just not spray primer over it and start again?

if you dont wanna keep the old paint and spray primer over cause it will get too thick, spray the oven cleaner and leave it overnight in a plstic bag and in the morning will be just ready to clean .use warn water and soap till its over. if more pain exists do it again but for less hours. You also can use paint remover but have to sweep it off immidiately cause this acts in a flash .hope i helped
