I just bought a Sd.Kfz. 140/1 Aufklarungspanzer light tank in 35 scale
Can anyone tell me about this kit made by ARK

I think this is the old Alan kit just reboxed under the ARK name. It's not a great kit. The molding is very soft and you'll need to go to the spares box for pioneer tools, jack, etc. I built it but it was a pain in the butt!
Italeri and DML make a 140/1 in 1/35 and they are much better kits....With a little patience and some scratch building skills you can make the ARK kit into a respectable representation of the original vehicle.

Seems like a lot of work considering Dragon has a little beauty that can be bought very reasonably. Having read reveiws of the Alan model, Id gladly give it a miss.

I agree Frank...but he already has the kit....sooooooooooo it's time to take the lemon and make some lemonade. I bought the kit off of eBay before the DML and Italeri kits came out and before it went to ARK models and almost doubled in price.
I put an aftermarket barrel and some other odds and ends and it looks ok. Not something that you want to enter in a contest.....I'm happy with it. Take care.
