There is an M14 (with mounted scope) in the Iraq Checkpoint Kit by Master Box. Bravo6 has also released a US Marine figure with an M14 (iron sights), called USMC Sharpshooter Tet '68.

There is also an M14 in the Dragon ODS-era US Sniper Team set.

gino thank you for your reply and i have got the dragon kit but i wanted an m14 not an m21...
the m14 is an accurate assault rifle, where as the m21 is a sniper/desiganted marksman rifle.
i just want the m14 so i can add a foregrip like seals do/did in iraq and afghan. and then have it stored on the back seat whilst the opperators are either cleaning weapons or eating food etc or whilst they are firing a .50...
foxtrot one the m14/m21 in the masterbox set is scoped already when realisticly i would like iron sights. and the resing figures seem to un cost effective when i dont build 'nam' dioramas or figures and buy it just for one rifle. but thanks for the reply

The weapon in the Dragon kit is an M14/M21. They are the same weapon. Only the designation is changed when it is a designated sniper rifle with the scope added. The M21 can (doesn't have to) also have the front bipod added as well.

Dan, just use a scalpel to remove the sight on the M21 in the Master Box kit...not that hard. I don't think anyone who has an M14 lying spare is just going to give it up, considering the fact that it is such a coveted item.
Gino, would you by any cance know who still stocks the Dragon US Sniper Team kit. I can't find that, or the Modern US Marine set anywhere.

foxtrot1 i do belive both sets are on fb for about £10, plus postage which shouldt be too much. and i forgot about using the scalpel to remove the the sight but was worried about having the sight attachment rings left on,i am not worried about paying a reasonable amount for the rifles anyways

Had another look on ebay.com, nothing came up. I usually have a look on ebay.co.za for hard to find items. Although there was a rumour circulating over here that ebay and amazon no longer ship to South Africa, due to the unreasonably high levels of theft at the South African Post Office by their employees. You gotta love Africa!

That was my point, just cut the scope off and you have an M14.

Sorry, I've just seen them on eBay and the likes. I don't think they are in production any longer.

Damn it! Thanks Gino, guess I'll have to let this one slide. Had an excellent idea on building Tamiya's an M60A1 Patton (ODS) with some of Tamiya's Modern Infantrymen (ODS) figures and some of the sniper figures from that Dragon kit.
Too bad...
