I want to make a model of a Gnat that my father flew in as his 500th type for his birthday in two weeks time. He is in the Guinness Book of Records as having flown in more types of aircraft than anyone else! His name? Edwin Shackleton.
The Gnat he flew in was G-TIMM/XM693, at that time painted silver with yellow stripes.
I have an Airfix Red Arrows Gnat which doesn't have fuel tanks. Does anyone have a spare pair of fuel tanks from a non-Read Arrows Gnat in their spares box that they don't need?
Thanks in advance.
