Well I have been busy redoing logos and posting stuff on Facebook, but someone beat me to this on here. So I will join the fray and add my own BIG TANKS err... THANKS for all involved (past, present, and future) to making Armorama such a great place for modelers to gather and share on the net!
It is really hard to believe 10 years have gone by and everything that has sprung up from Armorama. Remember that originally Armorama was all forms of military modeling at the time it launched. When we split up the site into KitMaker Network in 2006 there were certainly doubts about that move, but I think that one can just look at the gobs of stuff we have published on sites like AeroScale, Model Shipwrights, Historicus Forma, and all the others, and it has been a good move. But Armorama STARTED THEM ALL!
Even though the site has become more of a business for myself, I still look at it as a tool for modelers to publish and see their own work on the net. We are truly one of the few 'member' driven sites around and that I am very proud of starting and helping grow. That said you only have to look at the contributors page to see that this site is a lot more than the work of any one person or even a small group of folks. My humble thanks to everyone involved in making this site what it is today.
Cheers,
Jim

Hi,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

A big congrats to Armorama and it's founder Jim.
Ten years. The time reall does fly and I'm glad I have been part of it for the biggest part of those ten years. 9,5 years I think it is. And it has always been a big part of my life as well since.
Jim you might say that it is due to the involvement of the members to make the site what it is today. And it is true that the list of people who, in one way or another, supported the site is very impressive indeed. It was you who gave us the roof to do it under and you who made sure that the house is still standing upright and well functioning today. And therefor you, deserve a lot of the credit.
Of course the staff are doing a sterling job as well.
In my eyes worth a big round of applaus and all the feathers you can gather.
To the last ten years
And to the next 10
