I found a neat place to look for model kits.
Thrift Stores, (in the U.S., Savers, Salvation Army, Goodwill.)

Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don't. I found two models at one store. One was a Minicraft Beech Bonanza (come on it was a buck!) and a Spruenace class destroyer (Minicraft).

They were really cheap to!
