I need some spare 1:32 RAF WWII white 21'' letters. In particular the letters G A S, for a future Mustang build I have planned. I have every other decal I need but not these vital letters.
Has to be white.
I can pay any costs towards p&p.
PM me if anyone has any they can part with.

Is printing them yourself an option ?
I've been thinking about giving home made decals a go.

White is impossible unless you have something called an ALPS printer. Hardly worth the cost for a couple of decals. Its supposed to be easy to do with inkjet and laserjet decal paper, but white is hard unless you print on solid white and carefully cut it out!
I'm still doing some research on other possible markings I could do, but I really like the look of this sharkmouthed 112Sqn Mustang I have in mind.

Perhaps have a talk with Mal Mayfield (Holdfast) and get some masks made up to paint the letters ?

Cool I'll keep him in mind thanks. Might be useful for a lot of things.
Ive been doing a bit more digging around and it turns out that the 112Sqn decals I intend to get might give me everything I want. Its the kits-world sheet with markings for Ray Hearns P-51B (Mustang III) GA-Q. Looking around on the net I've found that he may have flown a similarly marked Mk.IV at the start of 1945, only the serial being different. So far I have yet to find a photo to prove this, but as he was sadly killled flying this one it might be like finding a needle in a haystack. So far GA-S is the only one I've found a profile for.
I also forgot to mention that its a P-51D in my earlier posts. Picked up 2 hasegawas at a carboot sale recently for £2.50 each!
