I have a set of Swiss Air Force markings for the Bf109E-4 in 1/32nd scale from the Trumpeter kit. The sheet is intact, and is yours if you promise to give it a good home and not call it "Switzi."

Hi Bill. Any chance of sending that set across the "Big Pond" ?

I have a Matchbox 1/32 Bf 109 E-3 (PK502 kit number), or so the box says, but reading a couple of reviews of the kit the concensus is that it's actually and E-4. It is an old kit and I am going to build it for the Matchbox Campaign next year. Taking a close look at the decals they are showing a lot of fine cracking, so I am thinking that a pre-emptive move might be in order.

Cheers, D

Damian, someone has already raised their hand for these, but if they don't want them after all, I'm happy to send them "down under." So many folks have been nice to me in this hobby, I just want to "pay it forward."

I'm right with you there Bill, the membership here have been great to me and I always do what I can in return.

Let me know if things fall through with the other party.

Damian, the other fellow said I should give 'em to you, but only if you use 'em in your group build and call the damn thing "Switzi," LOL.

Ok, now I'm confused ! Do I show gratitude to the other fellow who has given up his claim to these decals and follow his wishes, but in doing so risk raising your hackles and take a chance on them not being sent? Alternatively, since you are in possession and control of said decals I could make a commitment to you that I will follow your perfectly reasonable requests and thereby ensure the transfer of ownership to myself. This might, however, anger the third party, and since I haven't the slightest clue of his identity he could in fact be my next door neighbor and in a fit of rage invade my house and burn my (meager) stash.

All of this over a set of decals.

I think I'll have a lie down.

Glad they made it!

Be sure to post online when you've got 'em applied. I would love to do a Swiss Emil, but life is just too short.

Bill, you can follow my bumbling fumbling progress in the Matchbox Flying Nostalgia Campaign starting March 1 2012.

I did some Gogglerising and found a set of Paint call-out and decal placements as well.

That's great, Damian. Looking forward to seeing the finished plane. Should be a show winner in that bright color palette.
