40 years ago today, the crew of Dakota 12930 didn't return from a search near Cape Parry, NWT. They had found the missing aircraft and were circling in marginal weather to drop survival supplies when something went horribly wrong and they crashed.
None survived

May they rest in peace and be remembered. They died doing the highest calling: risking their lives to save others. Sad that they made the ultimate sacrifice.
