You have to start somewhere. Radio, that is broadcast radio is fading in popularity. Most broadcast radio stations also live stream their programming over the internet to have global reach versus a local audience. I jumped right into internet only broadcasts.
I do plan on expanding the footprint of the show to include a live streaming video webinar for those episodes that need a visual reference, but if and when its practical to do so. Its not necessarily possible fiscally or physically to be in the same location as the guest to video the interview.
I'd love nothing more than be able to travel around the world to where my guests are located to produce such episodes. It is something I hope to do when and where it is possible, starting here in the US & Canada at the various events and at their base of operations.
As with any business operation, it takes funds to make it happen. Sponsorship and advertising go to pay for those things and we have some interested parties we are hoping to secure. We'll soon be airing our 25th episode, so we hope they sign on soon.
Given I've had guests from UK to Australia and points in between, think of the frequent flier miles I could have racked up! More importantly the costs associated with traveling to those locations.
One step at a time.
