Isn't radio too 'last millenium'? With modelling in mind wouldn't it be more practicle to be able to see what is being discussed? If a cable channel is too expensive, there is You Tube.

You have to start somewhere. Radio, that is broadcast radio is fading in popularity. Most broadcast radio stations also live stream their programming over the internet to have global reach versus a local audience. I jumped right into internet only broadcasts.

I do plan on expanding the footprint of the show to include a live streaming video webinar for those episodes that need a visual reference, but if and when its practical to do so. Its not necessarily possible fiscally or physically to be in the same location as the guest to video the interview.

I'd love nothing more than be able to travel around the world to where my guests are located to produce such episodes. It is something I hope to do when and where it is possible, starting here in the US & Canada at the various events and at their base of operations.

As with any business operation, it takes funds to make it happen. Sponsorship and advertising go to pay for those things and we have some interested parties we are hoping to secure. We'll soon be airing our 25th episode, so we hope they sign on soon.

Given I've had guests from UK to Australia and points in between, think of the frequent flier miles I could have racked up! More importantly the costs associated with traveling to those locations.

One step at a time.

Sorry for not keeping up on the new episode announcements, but now that we are a syndicated show more time is spent producing each episode in house. So while I’ve been learning how to do all of this stuff my producer took care of for me, I haven’t had much extra time in my days and evenings.

Now that Summer is nearing an end, I’m getting more replies from those I approached to be guests on the show. So our topics and guests will be more…lets say…appeal more to a broader audience.

This next week on episode #33, Ed Sexton and Roger Harney from Revell join me, so tune in. Which reminds me. You don’t have to wait until Thursday nights anymore to listen to the show. As soon as its posted you are able to listen to the program. It first gets posted to the show’s homepage and then sometime on Thursday it populates on Warbird Radio.

Soon we will be feeding it to iTunes directly. Once we have that in place I’ll post about it on our homepage and Facebook page so you know where and how to subscribe to the podcast. In the meantime, listen or download it as you have been.

This week we meet a fellow modeler who gives back to the community, supports Veterans and promotes the hobby at the same time.
