Hi All,
Thought i'd get your opinions on this one.
I ordered a small amount of product from GMW a few weeks ago (some future, cant find it anywhere here in NZ!) and got a prompt confirmation along with USPS tracking number. I was very impressed with the speedy-ness.
The item showed on the USPS website as 'Electronic shipping info received' but this status did not change for a week so I emailed GMW as this suggested to me that the item hadn't been collected.
No response for days.
I have since emailed 4 times over the period of 3 weeks to the support email address and also directly to Mark and have not heard a squeak. I am simply asking if my package has been collected, I shouldn't think it would be too hard to answer?!
The order is not of great value, and its not like I have a deadline to meet but I would like to get on with things and i'm more annoyed on principle...
I have read some good and bad reviews about GMW, but has anyone else had a similar experience or suggest another person at GMW to contact? Its a bit frustrating being on the other side of the world as I cannot simply pick up the phone and call them.
I was planning on using them again but after these delays for such a simple question i'm not so sure. Hopefully they can change my mind...

I have never had a problem with great models, may I suggest you contact UPS and see if has been picked up if not then call GM ordering and see whats up. Whent you get the tracker it has been shipped according to GM

Hi Jim,
Yeah that's what I am thinking. It probably has been collected, but a simple reply saying what you just have would be nice.
Living in NZ, its can be frustrating having to rely on emails to other time zones and a phone call would be very expensive considering the value of this order.
I haven't written them off yet, as I still need a source for future lol Just need a place to grumble, thats what forums are for right?

I've used GM a few times..it's not like them to go unresponded for such a long time....mind you, USPS' tracking system is for squat..I've had items show up the day it registers on they're site and then it finally shows as "shipped and received"....roughly 4-5 days of "info recieved" then the package appears...no wonder they're having issues there!
There's no good excuse for GM to not reply though, even if it isn't a problem on they're end.......

Well my order arrived this morning but I have still not heard a peep from Great models, not even so much as a courtesy email.
I'm happy it arrived and they did ship when they say the would, but due to lack of and sort of response to my emails I will now be buying my Future (and other products) from Sprue brothers.

I only use Sprue. Havent used GMW since their 9/11 sale.
