Hello, All,

Just wanted to let you know that the Los Angeles Miniaturists will be having their monthly meeting Saturday, October 4th at the Burbank Moose Lodge. 1901 W. Burbank Blvd between Parish and Buena Vista (the zip is 91506), about two blocks from Gizmo's Hobby shop. We get started at 9:00AM Saturday morning, as usual, with complimentary coffee and donuts...

Fee free to drop in and have some scale fun. And definitely bring a completed or in-progress project along! If there is one thing in common with this diverse group, EVERYONE loves to yap about model building!!

We'll have the usual features: you can show off and talk up your completed or in-progress models or figures on the Show and and Tell table; the quarter-a-ticket Raffle always has neat prizes up for grabs; and participate in our hands-on demo, this month it is on making bases (be sure to bring a base and model or figures and any other bits for it)... We also have tables where club members sell books, kits, and other cool hobby stuff, so why not stop on by?!!

The club has members of every skill level from beginners to advanced scratchbuilders. And every model and figure interest under the sun is represented: we've got the classic ship, armor and aircraft modelers, sci fi enthusiasts, Napoleonic nuts, car buffs, action figure customizers, guys into the Wild West...the whole nine yards!! It's a great place to come to shoot the breeze about our hobby --- and DEFINITELY one of the few things worth getting up early for on a Saturday moring!!!

Questions? Shoot me an e-mail: [email protected]

Hope to see you there!

Keep on Modeling!!

Much Aloha,

Johnny B.
