I am not sure, but something just does not sit right with me. I would wonder how he came across all of these kits and accessories? If he is not a hobbyist.

Jim,

Maybe posting some pictures of a sample of the kits or a partial example list will help.

Honestly, your posts sound like you might be trying to snooker someone or even get personal information.

I've contacted by way of e-mail. The only way to know what you are getting is to go to mobile and look at them. Why is the friend not selling them? I've never heard of someone having to sell kits because of a divorce. Why are there no photos? Too many "whys" without answers.

the shots show multiples of various models and a stack of books on same
there are also aircraft , jeeps , and soldiers , russian tanks also , paint , brushes , decals
some of the multiples seem slightly different
variations on a particular tank i suppose
i hope this puts you guys at ease
lets talk
i will make you a deal on the lot
it is worth the drive
my research indicates that none of this stuff retails for cheap

Its a great collection and I'd only be interested in buying a few kits. The reality is that you probably won't be able to get rid of the collection as a whole and ebay will be your best route for the protection of yourself and us as members who feel like this is a scam.

I'd be pretty gutted if I divorced my partner and came back a few weeks later to collect my kits and discovered her mate has sold the lot

Anyway, good luck shifting them, but I think you may need to sort the stuff into bundles. I see warhammer stuff amongst those kits, which doesn't really appeal to lots of armour modellers. Maybe try and hook up with a local model club so some of the members can come for a viewing and stack up what they want.

Jim,
One thing. You said you didn't know anything about them. So if someone bought them all and say there was 300 kits. Half were open and had parts missing. Well you see why we as folks that do know something about kits have concern. If you pieced them out by kit and it was missing a part I would feel a whole lot better losing on one or two kits still pissed but better than 150. Understand where we are coming from. One other thing, you said the ex left the kits in the garage, but she bought them. So are they his or hers, and do you have the right to sell them. Just too fishy sounding!

i have had quite enough of you knuckleheads
you have been verbally abusing me virtually from my first post!
i intentionally kept price negotiation private
i will sell for the most i can
and i do not apologize for doing that
i have been very upfront from my first post
re-read it
"money talks and BS walks"
i also accurately described the stuff
then got called a liar and a scammer over and over
so - i provided photos
hmmmmmmm...........
which exactly match my description
at this point ? i think a moderator needs to start hitting the delete key on your comments
private negotiations are just that - private
