Hi I’m Steve aka Redprol,
I’ve been modeling since the age of 10is when me and my dad built an Airfix Spitfire, build loots of 1/72 scale that didn’t survive my war games, there’s a garden in South East London that will puzzle Archeologists in the future with its rich seam of plastic.
Modeling took a back seat when I discovered nightclubs and techno in the early 90’s, and all that that entailed. Coupled with University, Politics and History and far far too much beer.
Now settled good job and a whole room for models I’ve been on track in modeling terms, scaled up to 1/35 and a particular bent towards the good old USSR, Modern UK and USA, and starting on the PLA. I tend to go OOB, but do add tracks, turned barrels some photo etch, but I don’t like it! Would say I’m an average modeler enjoy the painting more than the build, philosophy if it looks right it is right.
So that’s me a godless leftie, Chelsea fan, Gym going smoker and model maker.
