This kit came out before the Tamiya kit and is great. It has some special touches of its own. Several lower grills and the air inlets are made of etched metal. 14 to be exact. And this is addition to the forward air inlets and the screens covering the FLIR and DLIR. And there is an etched metal Hud display. The details are all here. Inner door panels, weapons bay, cockpit panels, and a great ACES II ejection seat. In some ways this model is better than the Tamiya kit. The Scalemaster decal sheet is excellent and gives you the only model kit showing an HO tail code, No. 827. The nice choice is for 838 of the 416 TFS and 416 AMU including the "Magic Hammer" (Flew 36 missions with the 416th TFS in the Gulf War) weapons bay art. Even the clear plastic includes clear covers for the wingtip navigation lights.
