Thought I would give you some info since I only live about 8 miles from the convention center where the IMPS show is being held. The timeframe for the show is July 31-Aug3, right in the middle of tourist season for Virginia Beach. If you plan on attending the show and staying in a hotel I highly suggest that you get reservations very, very early as hotel rooms around here fill up fast and increase exponentially in price as tourist season draws near. On the IMPS site they say that the Quality Inn (which is across the street from the convention center, I think) is already booked for that time frame. There are plenty of other hotels available but can be very expensive.
