The theme this time: an obscure Polish Armoured Motor Boat, armed with a double machine gun.

The isn't much information on the web, this is what I could find related to pictures...





Began building the structure with a little help from my old friend LEGO!






Then the cutting & glueing started:





The upper part, with the turret:



I then had to build the machine gun... as it didn't existed in 1:35, I had to build it



and I came up with this




The detailing went on and the rivets were part of it



The final stage, construction finished.

You should consider writting an article for Modelshipwrights on your amazing build.

What a great choice for a scratchbuild as that is a very interesting boat. You pulled it off incredibly. Fantastic build!

And thanks for posting the progress photos as well. (The Legos trick is about to save my sanity on a tank hull.) Again, a superb build of a great boat.

Fantastic scratchbuild ... but you have actually painted Polish communist Coat of Arms on it. The Coat of Arms of Second Republlic (Official name of Poland from 1918 - 1939) had white or gold crown of the top of the eagle. The River Fleet flag is like here:http://pl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Plik:Naval_Ensign_of_river_fleet_IIRP_v1.svg&filetimestamp=20090323101130 , but both this and the flag you put were used, as long as there is a little crown on the top of the eagle.

Time to draw a 1mm crown on a decal. It's going to be a long afternoon.
