ΙPMS (Hellas), invites all fellow modellers, members of modelling clubs - IPMS Chapters, to the 30th Annual Expo and Competition, which will take place from the 20th to the 23rd of October 2011, in the premises of ΠΟΛ.Κ.Ε.Ο.Α. (Cultural Center of the Employees of Olympic Airways), currently Museum of Civil Aviation, located in the former Western Terminal in Hellinicon Airport (entrance via Poseidonos Avenue)

As this year is the 30th anniversary of our club, the forthcoming expo and competition will have a festive character, as there have been scheduled many parallel events (such as modelling seminars, exhibition of historic vehicles, exhibition of air photography, wargame exhibitions, etc). In parallel with our expo the Museum of Civil Aviation will operate, while there will be a vendors area, next to our expo.

The official opening of the expo will take place on Friday 21st October 2011, at 19.00. The closing ceremony and the award ceremony, will take place on the expo's last day (Sunday October 23rd), at 14.00

In order to better serve the contestants, the pre-registration of the models has been commenced either by e-mail, or through our site, or even via regular mail. The relevant details have been published in our site ( www.ipms-hellas.gr )

For those who wish to attend and/or participate to the IPMS Hellas 30th Annual Expo and Competition, IPMS Hellas, has arranged friendly prices at
"Best Western Ηοtel FENIX" ( http://www.fenix.gr/html/location-gr.php ), which is a 10 min. walking distance from the expo.

The prices are 35€/person/day for a single bed room, and 60€/day for a double bed room. All prices include breakfast.

IPMS Hellas, will not be responsible for the reservations. But when you contact the hotel, you should mention, that you will participate at the Model Expo, in order the be charged with the prices stated above.

October in Greece, is a fairly warm month, and you will be able to combine the expo, with a visit to Athens (IMHO, the best time to visit Athens), and for those who dare, take a swim at the sea

IPMS Hellas, is proud to anounce, that MIG JIMENEZ, will participate, in the 30th Annual Expo and Competition.
MIG will, be one of the judges, in the Armoured Vehicles section, and of course will demonstrate the CM technique, and other interesting methods...
