Not much in the way of a reference movie, but still great. "Centurion". Very graphic combat and somewhat predictable plot. Saw this one on netflix and haven't seen it anywhere else. It's about Rome's presence in the British Isles.

sounds good,need to check that one out,I did try out The Eagle,another Roman adventure se in Britain,not too bad,entertaining.

If alone i preferred to watch Comedy Movies than war movies.

Murder by Death and Big Trouble in Little China, also on Netflix. Good comedy. Anyone here seen "The Brest Fortress?" Russian movie about Barbarossa and the defense of this fort.
