I just finished watching "The First of the Few" aka "Spitfire", which is the story of Reginald Mitchell and his struggles to design the Spifire. It's not a war movie, having taken place prior to WW2 but it certainly can be said that Mitchell influenced the war.

I believe it was Leslie Howard's last film. I'd like to have a DVD copy of it but, so far, have been unable to find one.
