Hello Gents!
Anyone use a glue called Plastruct Weldene? Supposed to bond styrene to styrene only.
Very fluid liquid, and flows great. Only thing it kida stinks.
Anyway, grabbed a bottle and tried it... works pretty good... lets see if by tomorrow the bond is cured and strong.
Any feedback appreciated, as always.

Used it years ago, so I did a quick Google search. It's supposed to work well on styrene, doing exactly what Extra thin does. The confusing issue is that it's supposed to be non-toxic.

Thanks for the reply!
Found it to work beautiful, and the capillary flow is great!
Now, it might be non-toxic, but hell, does it smell! I guss the non toxic part is the due to the smell, anyone wold be deterred from drinking it!
Thanks again!

Hi all
If you can find it I use a glue called Weld-on #3 made by IPS coropration, it will glue just about any thing plastic out there. The main ingreatement is Methal Chloride. you can get a quart for $18.00 and it will fill a whole bunch of those little bottles

Teaker,
I've never heard of Weldene and google search got me some strange construction site!
But if you are gluing styrene I strongly recommend Jet Glue. It is just as you described, very liquidy and bonds just about anything.
Jet Glue
Good luck!
