I've always wondered if they use glue when assembling these huge Lego models, or are they just held together with just the Lego pins and sockets?

i also wonder if filler is used to fill all the gaps between the blocks... they look seamless especially the hull and deck

I don't know what's more impressive - the ship, or the fact the builder is still married!
(I know my wife would leave me if I built one, but then again I'd gain all that extra storage space...)
