I am a young modeller (14 years old), i'm French (excuse me form my poor english!)
I do model since i'm 8 years old..
hum.... i work in 1/35th scale , but i tried in 1/72th but it was too small for me!
so, that's all!

Sorry for the long reply. Our student friend is from Charleville-Mezires, just "up the road" from you. I've only seen photos, but the region is very beautiful.
