Hi all, for some time I have been using a product called Best in Glass available from the Co op to pre clean my paint brushes.
To day by accident I spilt some on a model and in my attempt to wipe it off I found it lifted the paint back to the primer.
So I dipped an old figure head in and scrubbed it with an old toothbrush and hey presto it was clean . I neutralized it with clean water.
It is based on corn alcohol so should be available world wide .
I cannot say it will work on all acrylics but it certainly works with vallejo .
cheers ian
