Hi everyone, I am writing to ask a question. i am building a german 88 mm gun and plan on using a desert camo pattern. I would like to know if the gun crews still wore the grey uniforms or if they wore something that was closer to a sand or tan color?

hi it all depends on the time scale , when they arrived they were in the original field grey , then as the supply chain improved they got issued with desert uniforms no cammo , just plain khaki or olive drab , or a sandy khaki , all of course faded due to the sun , wind , and washing , so any shade of the above will do , better to mix them up as that is how it would be , cheers ian

Hey if your building that Tamiya 88, I am to! :-)

The crew, I would mix them up, but if you didn't want to buy new people I would just paint them feild grey, to represent that they were a little earlier in the campaign.
