Just got the ole M-88A1 armored recovery Tank from AFV one hell of a kit. I need a brake from building all these foreign noname no part kits. Well it does come from Hong kong but at least it is a good kit up their with Dragon And Tamiya.Well cheers now if somebody could point me towards a few good sites with pics Model ones we will be on our way.

Ex Army dude, you can check out www.vietnamodels.com theres a built M88A1 kit on there, you can also try
http://www.kithobbyist.com/AFVInteriors/fullmetal/modphoto.html, they might have some models on there or interior pics, of the vechile, hope this helps,

Actually I made a boo boo it is the M-88 not A1. This is the one we had in Korea in my unit.

My memeory is hazy (again!!), but I don't recall a lot of noticable exterior changes from the M88 to the M88A1. Seems like most of the changes were internal...engine, tranny, winches, etc. Anyone know what the visible differences were?
