i had a bad day yesterday.
i been working on a hobby craft bf -109.
and it was together well untill i glued the cock pit in.
i must have dry fited the cock pit 10 times and it was good.
i even taped the cockpit in and then i taped the fuesalage to gether and it was a nice fit,
then i guled the cockpit in i used zap glue which was dumb,
then i went to glue the 2 halfs together and there was a space in fron of the cock pit.
the rest of the fusalage was tight,
so after crying for a hour lol
i glued in a strip of placstic in that gap.
and it closed .
tehn i put some green putty let it dry and i just preimed it,
its still a little off.
this is where i need help
should i sand the primer off and add new putty where i need it on the model.
and re prime and keep going till it looks ok
thanks guys

I would use mineral spirits to remove the putty and re-do it where you need it.

I agree with Rob. Go ahead and try to smooth it out as finely as you can. I think you can recover nicely...
