I am looking for metal barrels for a 1/35 M-61 Vulcan Spaag. I know HobbyFan produced a set, but haven't been able to find any. Thanks.

If you are looking for the complete conversion HobbyFan set, you can find one on Lucky Models... free shipping. I know they produced a set of metal barrels, and I know there were some on eBay when I was getting my stuff for Vulcan. I can't find them now, sorry. There is a 1/32 set of Vulcan barrels, but I'm not sure if those would fit.

Does the HobbyFan set come with metal barrels? If so, I won't need to order the barrels separately. Thanks.

Yes, it does. Here's the review of the HobbyFan set on PMMS, so you can check out all the goodies in the kit:

Yes, but those are 1/32 and could have been designed for 1/32 scale aircraft. If you do get them, please let us know if they fit the M163 Academy model.

I had already planned on using the Hobby Fan conversion. But do let us know about any fit issues.

my bad , too much super glue yesterday , the 1/32 would not fit, and after seeing the review of the hobby fan kit for the m163, you would not need anything else ,hopefully rb models or ?? will come out with a metal barrel set in the proper scale

Matt,
I can't find any 20mm vulcan barrel by Lionmarc.
That set in 1/32 sure looks nice.

That's right. I have a Shilka in my stash and Lionmarc has barrels for it, not the Vulcan.
