Hi everyone, my local club is thinking of changing our website name so as to attract more attention from fellow modelers. The thinking is to change it to something that the different search engines will more easily find. So, my question is, if you were searching for a club on the web, or something to do with modeling, would you type in "plastic modlers" or "scale modelers" when searching?
Thanks for your time!
Mike

You have to think about the people you want to attract, what Delbert offered is definetley how an experienced modeler that uses the web, would use to do a search.
If you're looking to attract newcomers, something with 'plastic' and 'models' is definetely a good way to go. Terms like 'builder', 'airplanes', or 'armor' would be useful. Keep it very simple and basic, you will get hits.

IF you are looking to get more hits on a CLUB or group... I think I would put in "club":
"plastic model club, plastic modeling club, scale model club", etc. IF your club is actually heavy into military things, maybe add in "military modelers" or "military modeling". Maybe also an era (WWII modeling)?
