Hi all, sorry for not posting for a while. I haven't been building much. Too much work.
Anyway.
My dad spent a few years in South Georgia back in the 1950s on a Whaling ship and has hinted a couple of times that he’d like a model of it. I decided to make one out of the Revell North Sea Trawler and scratch build what I needed.
This is my original trawler (which I actually quite liked).
And this is what I would be converting it to:
So… On with it… The Revell Trawler cut down to what will be used:
Some of the Superstructure done, much of it is just blue tacked together for reference at this point:
It’s slightly more advanced than that now so I’ll take and post more pics asap.
