Not a sitcom fan, but this really sucks. I did watch a few Three's Company shows when I was a kid.
Too bad, Ritter seemed like a really good guy and I was glad his new show was doing good (although I had never seen it).

I have to agree with you. I didn't watch 3's Company much when it as on and rarely watched his new ones, but I am saddened by his early demise

I did watch 3's Company...Yes I'm that old!
His death is a particularily weird occurence. Perhaps the fact he wasn't much older than myself, or his resurgence on TV, or his role as a Dad with TEENAGERS that I can relate to... whatever it is a strange feeling.
And to his family and friends...condolences and sorrow.
