I've been using this for more than a year now and find it very useful, friendly, and put it in the 'Highly Recommended" catagory.
The way it's held makes it an extension of your index finger(also ambidextrous). the thumb and 3 fingers have max control of the blade with, again, max comfort to the hand. Very valuable to us that have arthritus creeping into those digits. I find it exceptional for removing mold lines on figures where care needs to be taken in not losing detail or otherwise causing more work than eliminating.
The ONE, DANGEROUS, drawback I see in this tool is it's extreme comfort and fit.
You may forget it is on your finger............
It holds a very sharp #11 blade nicely. If you are into marathon modeling sessions into the wee hours, you might want to scratch that nose that itches or rub the tired eyes. This is a disaster scenario of life changing proportions!!
Therefor, the' highly recommended' is for seasoned, adult modelers only.
As with ANY sharp tooling, use care and be aware.
Cheers to happy modeling!

This was bought at Michaels for USD 5. Probably widely available in sewing/fabric shops and hobby/craft stores.
