I'm trying to find out what modelling clubs are around the Glasgow and Ayrshire areas of Scotland, UK.

I've never been involved with a modelling club so anyone who can let me know whats involved etc I would appreciate it.

In Scotland this sort of thing seems to be not well advertised. I live in Central Scotland, and looked hard to find a model club. All I keep finding is Flames of War and Warhammer 40k.... Not really my thing.

There's an Miniature Armour Group that meets in Glasgow on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in Govanhill I believe.

I'm still trying to get all of the details etc myself though.

Just as an update, I went along to the Miniature Armour Group in Glasgow last night and found it to be an excellent wee club with a warm welcoming atmosphere!

Been a while since I've been on the forum (busy painting miniatures for a game). Where abouts is the club exactly?

I live in the Scottish Borders and my nearest club is the Edinburgh IPMS. It meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the British Legion, on Rodney Street. hi,ayrshire scale model group meet in the redburn community centre ,dickson drive irvine on a tuesday evening 6 till 9 ,we have a website ,google ayrshire scale models i believe.
