Hi,
Bit of a long shot but I need the following parts from the Tamiya 1:35 M8 HMC (not the Greyhound!).
Complete Lower Hull
Parts B3, B4, B13, B15 and B11 x2 (complete assemblies for left and right Idler wheels).
I realise that this is a big chunk of the model.
I will consider anything even scraps from an old junked model. I suspect that the hull and running gear is common to all Tamiya Stuart tanks.
I am also still looking for a canopy for the Matchbox 2 seat Lightning.
If anyone has any to spare please reply.
Thanks

Stephen, this modeler has a site called the Arsenal. It is a WW2 armor parts depot. Normally, he only asks that a modeler pay for the shipping of the parts and accepts donations of kit parts as well. It may be worth a try:

Hi Stephen
I have a built M8 HMC I would be willing to part with ( it's in the "don't know what to do with that thing"-pile...).
PM me if interested so we can figure out the details.
Cheers!

My first step will be to have a look at the site Sabot has sent me the link to.
If I have no joy I'll contact you Stefan.
Appreciate the help.

I've had no luck from this guy. I've sent a couple of emails over the last few months politely asking if he had them. To date I've had no reply. So either he doesn't offer the service anymore, in which case I would have appreciated a reply, or he's dropped off the planet. I know this kit is back out but I'm not sure how Tamiya's spares back up works (Airfix are superb in this!).
Stefan is the offer of your M8 still on?
Ste
