My nan built Lancasters during WWII, uprooted from South Wales to the Bristol area. I want to build a Lancaster for a birthday present. Whats the best "Shake and Bake" Lanc kit ? An easy accurate Build Cheers Geraint

I'm no expert but the Revell 1:72 Lanc seems nice review . In 1:48 I think your only option is Tamiya.

Thanks Jim 1/48 well to big my boy has got a airfix corsair and thats big enough . I will be getting the revel kit looks lik a lot of fun. A nice change. Thanks Geraint

Heh-heh! After you log on, click on 'setting' upper right hand corner. Go to 'modify profile', then edit your 'personal signature' and save.

Be sure to get the Revell kit no. 4300. There's an older kit out there you should avoid.
