Let us say a prayer for all the lives affected and the souls lost because of this catastrophe sweeping across the pacific.
And may those whom are in it's path, get out in time.

I"m with you. I hope and pray they receive help quickly and I feel for those who have lost their lives or their loved ones. And for the rest of us, it can happen anywhere, any time. Be prepared. Blankets, clothes, medical supplies, food and water. 72 hour kits are a good start, but a plan for up to two weeks is best. Remember a tooth brush and bathroom tissue. Two or three 5 gallon plastic buckets with lids will hold enough for a family of 6, minus the water, keep it dry and it can be transported on a small kids wagon or dolley. Keep a shovel, axe and pick handy as well.

Watching the news here at the moment and they estimate the death toll could rise to 1000....looking at the pictures I would not be surprised if it went higher.

It is truly incredible the power of water

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those effected

I'm amazed and speechless.
Very sad indeed seeing the news and video.
Prayers to the people there, and their families around the world.

It reminds me of the 2004 one. And I see the Japanese are fighting to keep their nuclear power reactors from going China Syndrome... Very sad all around.

At least they found that missing ship and 81 people on it alive and got them off it safely. One small miracle.

A small miracle at least, I thought all of them were lost.
I hope they find survivors from the lost train..

Mother nature can truly be unforgiving.

Prayers and hearts out to the people of Japan and in Japan.
