i will be moving to arizona in june or july. we will be in the tucson area, and i would like to make contact with modlers there.

Check out the "What If" forum discussion-- the Arizona contingent has worked up quite a Post-Apocalyptic backstory, even a 4-state paramilitary unit with standard colors and insignia.
