While building a model of a tank, I just happened to come across a book called "Tank Men" by Robert Kershaw. It proved to be a great read, so I've posted a review of the book on my blog:

I particularly like the author's analysis of why the German tanks proved superior in the beginning of WWII. One thing is of course the tactics but another aspect is how the German tanks were designed in order to enable the crew to fulfill their duties as efficiently as possible.
