hi all!
i've visited this site quite a few times so i'd thought it was time to introduce myself and become active on the forums!
my name is Freek Kops,
22 years of age,
from holland,
car painter for a living (don't know if i am saying that right, but i put paint on cars )
it's been a while since i have been really active with buildmodels but it never really stopped.
started of when i was a small boy, when i was 6 i believe.
back then it was mostly cars, plains and a few ships. but as i grew older and started to learn about ww2 and heard my grandpa's story's i didn't want to build any other than that.
but as i grew older there were other things of interest,
mopet,
cars, here's a photo of my own car.
rebuild it from scrapyard quality
so for the last couple of years i didn't really finish anything,
but i am getting back to it!
greets,
Freek
ps, if my english fails me, i am sorry for that!

Hoi Freek,
welkom ! Don't worry about your English - it's better than most people's Dutch (and better than some English people's English )
From your introduction I'm guessing you're going to go for WWII armour? Have you got a project in mind?
Over 30 years ago I used to build German and Western Allies WWII armour, but over the years got rid of all my reference materials (and forgot most of the stuff that was in my brain), so, on my return the hobby I've decided to concentrate on soviet WWII armour and learn something new, rather than retrace the stuff I used to do.

Welcome Freek! Might be wrong, but is your re-built car a Mazda RX-7? Body work and paint job look show room cool! Nice to have another treadhead back to play. Have fun and start plastering photos all over the place!
Cheers!
