Like the title says. Looking for unused or old 40cm DML Magic Tracks from Panzer III/IV early kits to replace rubber band tracks on my Tamiya StuG IIIB.
Can't find a decently priced AM set anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Yeah... the quest for track sets...
Alas, I have none, but I fully understand the desire, having recently swapped some MagicTrak in for the rubberbands on an antique Tamiya Wirbelwind! Made all sorts of difference, too, so well worth it, IMO!
If no luck here... maybe try the evilbay? If all else fails, DragonUSAOnline.com has the Pz III/IV earlier 40cm type MagicTrak for 19.99 plus shipping. Not cheap, but less than Fruils!
Good Luck and happy tracking! Sorry I have nothing I can offer you!

Have you considered the TriStar set?
http://www.greatmodels.com/~smartcart/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=TRS35052
They aren't exactly as easy to use as the Magic Track, but they aren't far off. I believe there's a review of them here on Armorama as well.

Bob, Jesse, Bill
Thanks for the replies. Yeah, finding replacement tracks is tough. I found a set of AFV club Pz III/IV tracks at SprueBrothers, but by the time I had added the extra cool stuff (King Tiger, Jadgtiger, etc) somebody had already bought them out! Grrr.
I am heading down to Rochester, MN tomorrow for the local chapter's "Hope It Don't Snow" show and see if any of the vendors may have any. If not, Bill, expect a PM from me tomorrow night on your set. Bob, I have that exact same ancient Tamiya Wirbelwind as well, so I might find another set for that beast as well!
