I finally got a bottle of this stuff to day.
and it looks great. all these years i been useing the testors stuff lol.
i saw tenx 7 r last night at my club meeting and one guy was useing it.
i was impressed. so i got it.
what do u guys think of it.
and do any of u use it

I swear by the stuff - Tenax is great!

I typically put the two pieces to be glued together - dry fit, then apply the glue with an old paintbrush to the seam. It melts the plastic and you can't even tell that the seam was there. Good glue.....

Make sure you get the parts lined up correctly - you don't have any time to "reposition" them after you put the glue on.

I forst used this stuff when I was worlking on indy links for a M-51 or M-50 with DML runing gear. I went to my local shop and asked for a glue that would be good to tack something but give me some work time. They steered me to this. The only other cement I use is Plastruc Plastic Weld.
A couple words of caution on Tenax, a heavy thinner based wash will loosen the bond and don't ever forget to recap it at the end of your session or you'll be buying a new bottle as soon as the hobby store opens. This stuff evaporates at an incredible speed.
