Japan worked with Germany and attacked Russia once the Germans where almost in Moscow? (hope this one wasn't posted before)

Okay, but with what ?
And what would they have attacked ? I don't think there was anythong necessary to the war effort in the
west so far out to the east.
And also, with the japanese army so far spread all through the pacific, china... where could they have
found the men and the equipment ? And let's not forget the fuel needed...
I don't think the russians had much to fear.

From what i've read,even though the Japanese were spread thin in the pacific they maintained a very large number of troops in China in fear of a Soviet assault on them,but if they had attacked all they would have temporarily achieved was delaying the transfer of
the Soviet troops from that front to fighting the Germans.
penpen is right as to the equipment also,their equipment hadn't changed since they Soviets beat them in 1939 with BT -7 tanks,now they had T-34's.
