Here I am again. I've been to the model-shop today, and tried to get some info 'bout airbrushes.
They had a Aztec 4704 dual-action airbrush in stock. The shopkeeper told me it is a very nice airbrush, which will be more than good enough for a beginner like myself!
Now since I'm a newbie at this...It seemed so fragile to me!
Has anyone of you experienced any problems with this type, and if so, or not offcourse, can you give me some tips on other models.

Thanks again, John.

Aztek airbrushes are excellent for there easy maintance. I have a 470 and use it more than my pasche.
The only issue i have with with the airbrush is the crome plated front, after a while it starts to come off, however this does not effect the spray.
Go for it, you wont regret it. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I was very close to getting an Aztec airbrush...but I decided on a metal one because I like the feel and durability There is just something about a plastic airbrush that makes it feel like a toy...Although, I can imagine the Aztec being useful too...the changeable tips and the fact that it is designed specificly for modeling are big +'s.

I'm with sweatydogz on this. I came from a metal one and my wife gave me an Aztech 470 as a present. I immediately feel comfortable with it even if it's much more lighter than the metal one. On top of that its ergonomy it's far a lot better in my view. Anyway an airbrush is so a personal thing that i suggest to ask in a few shop if you can "try" to it (I mean how it feels in your hand) and go for the one you feel more confortable. Other pluses of the Aztech on top of what sweatydogz said is that you can buy with a few bucks a wide series of nozzles for different uses...

I also have an aztek and it works as good as these guys say! The only problem you will have is if you don't clean it good enough.

Even if you don't clean it well, do not despair, the tip is not ruined and you don't have to bu a new one like they say. If you are careful, you can actually pull the unit apart and clean the needle and blow-out the chamber. I have had to do this a couple times, but the tips work as good as new once done...and you saved a few dollars.

I believe you should go for the aztec 470, since i have already one and much used. i also have a very expensive badger but to tell you the truth the aztec fits better in hand is lighter and i ve used it quite wild with no problems.try to clean it very well and will be your long time friend
