I stumbled across this on a German site
http://www.modellversium.de/tipps/1-werkzeuge/79-.html The pictures speak for themselves, but just a brief recap: take a large-ish needle, cut off the end, so you end up with a two-pronged fork, file it flat and stick the pointy end of the needle into a cork/ballpoint, etc. - I used an old paintbrush handle - and Robert is your father's brother. Free and useful, how good is that?

I have made one of these and found that toothpicks work just as well, if not better.

Thanks a lot Dierk!
It could be a very good CA glue applicator....and is going to be cheap!
Using different needle size, you 'll been able to made different applicators (small needle=little amounts of glue, wool needle= more amounts of glue)
I'll try to do it surely
Thanks again
cheers

Ciao Mauro,
I just use a medium size wool-needle - the capillary action fills what used to be the eye of the needle, making applying even minute amounts of glue very easy. But, because often not all the glue gets used up, you have to occasionally clean the hardened glue off.

Well, no problem, I will clean the needle after use with lacquer thinner.
Thanks again for the advice

Wow ok always wondered how you guys seem so never use to much glue! I have used the standard brush in glue bottle cap or the pin applicator. But now i will for sure try the tooth pick plan & maybe later the needle plan to! Thanks that is some really good gen!
