Today a ran across an old GMC Lift truck. I put some pics up on my site. It's not a military truck, but I was hoping someone here could tell me the year and model of the truck. Also, I wonder if the military ever used it.

I will hazard a guess and say approx mid 1950's. It originally had a 5th wheel in place of the boom setup and is a tractor unit for hauling trailers.

Thanks Cliff. I just got an email from Art Anderson over at RMS. It is a1948 -49 GMC traveling crane truck. Used mainly to transport bricks, ect. I think it would make an interesting model.
