I will be in the Atlanta area, Georgia over the next few months.
To do a little hobby shopping I am trying to find some hobby stores in the area. So far I have only come up with ToysRus and Hobbytown USA. They seem to have a limited supply.
Any good suggestions on hobby stores in the area? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The best by far is AAA Hobby, 1474 Roswell Rd, Marietta. 770 973-5666. Another good one would be HobbyTown USA , located off Barrett Pkwy., in the Town Center area of Marietta. Sorry don't have their address and phone number.
But usually if you need it, AAA Hobby has it or can get it.

AAA is a good shop. I was going to direct you to my old hang out on the east side "The War Room" but it looks like they are no more.

Jesper,
I went to both shops the beginning of last December. The AAA Hobby is certainly just a model shop with a decent selection, and a nice array of aftermarket, tool, and other supplies, but it isn't large. They will special order, but I didn't try that.
The HobbyTown USA store in Kennesaw, GA is the largest HT USA I've seen, and it has a row of shelves just for Military Vehicles, another for Air Craft, another for cars, another for figures, and so on, along with AM PE sets, tools, building supplies, books, etc. It's still an all-in-one hobby shop, but the store is huge (im' guessing it was originally one of the multiplex theaters that they later knocked most of the interior walls down).

If you pm me your e-mail, I'll send you one of my AMPS chapter's newsletters that has a store trip report in it with photos for both stores. i would stop at both if you will be there for a couple months.
Good luck!

The local AMPS chapter has it's monthly meeting the 1st Saturday of every month at AAA Hobbies, starting at 10am. There's also a show on the weekend of February 18-20 in the Atlanta area if you can make that.
