Hi all,
I remember years ago (30 odd), using a sandpaper type thing which was called Rouge Paper, very fine and must be ideal for use on plastic.
Maybe it's known by a different name these days ?
I am trying to sourse some in the UK without much luck so far.
Hope someone can help.

Here's hoping

Pete

Hi Pete

There is a modelling product called "Micro Mesh" which has grits like 3200, 4000, 6000, 8000, 10000 & 12000. It comes both in little 2" foam pads with the sandpaper bonded to both sides and as conventional one-sided sheets. It's also possible to source very similar products cheaper from an auto bodywork supplier. (I can't suggest any for you, as I am in the US and don't know the UK market). You might also be able to use 0000 steel wool for your purposes. You can even "wet sand" with it (just be sure to get all the residue off, as it can later rust. lol

Sorry for the delay in replying. Been working away.

Thanks for the info, I'll seek the Micro-Mesh stuff out.
