How well do unbuilt kits sell on the forum during the Holidays?

Some posters said to wait two months after Christmas because the market is flooded with kits and people have no cash. Also, football playoffs keep guys on the couch instead of surfing for kit sales.

Are forum visits usually down around this time?

Actually, I've been surfing my favorite haunt{ebay} and picking up a few things I wanted for christmas but didn't get. I've never been much of a sports fan so this is it for me{models-building}.

I'm always looking for sale items reguardles which time of the year it is. I was searching Christmas day for deals on many of the modeling forums.
