A few days ago (Dec 16th) Armorama officially turned 9 years old. With the holidays and stuff going on around here I actually missed it. We are now in our 10th year of operations.

It's been a heck of a ride thus far. I would like to again thank all the people who have done so much to make the site what it is today, even if some of them are no longer around or as active as they use to be. Without that early support and the continued help of active members and staff volunteers this site (and community) would not be here.

I keep thinking that Armorama is peaking out or reaching it's highest point. But amazingly we are seeing even higher traffic numbers over the same period last year (a 50% increase!). Armorama has now exceeded 190,000 unique visitors for the past 30 days according to our Google Analytics tracking. And AeroScale (whose aircraft content use to be part of Armorama in all fairness) has totally busted through the sound-barrier and gone up to 90,000 unique visitors for the past 30 days. That is TWICE the traffic they had last year! It's much the same for all the other x-parts of Armorama as well. Model Shipwrights (40K+), Historicus Forma (20K+), etc.

There are still big things on the horizon as well. I hoped to have some major improvements ready for forum posting up soon. To be honest the integration of this new technology is somewhat beating my brains to mush, but I am confident it won't take much longer.

We are also looking to launch a user-configurable newsletter in the coming months as well.

Happy Birthday BigA! (and KitMaker as a whole!)

Cheers,
Jim
